This is Gender Affirmative Action Pure and Simple

There were plenty of qualified Republicans, Democrats, and independents for the VP choice.  Sen. McCain is of advanced age, it is his choice which will be a kep power player in the future and he chooses this inexperienced nobody from the second least populous state in the union.  This is no Dick Cheney or even Joe Biden.

Sarah Palin: Gender Politics and Weakness

Ok, I will drink the cool-aid...McCain has finally made me drink it.  I will vote for Barack Obama.

Anyone who knows my blog knows how much I have railed against Sen. Obama and mostly for one reason:  His insurmountable inexperience and the cult of the personality surrounding him.  Then Sen. McCain goes ahead and names an unknown with even less experience than Sen. Obama!  For God's sakes she was elected Governor in 2006! Worse, considering McCain's age she is set to be the next leader of the Republican Party!  This is why I am an independent.

Why America Should Care That Russia Has INVADED Georgia

Once upon a time the world knew by heart the risks of appeasement.  The world knew what it meant when a dictator said he would "protect" groups of people of his ethnic background living in other nations at all costs.  Of course the world learned what all of this meant in the wake of WWII.

Obama Declares Himself World Citizen and Insults Our Nation!

While in Europe Barack Obama actually declared himself a world citizen - not a US citizen but a world citizen.  It seems he is running to be President of the World not the US!  I'm sorry his speech has me so angry.  He literally said that our legacy in the world is "TARNISHED."

That sure sounds like he thinks our nation is wrong.  Wrong in the war on terror and wrong in every way the Europeans think we are wrong.  Well I say we just join the EU and cease to be Americans because this is exactly what these liberal nations in Europe want.

The Dark Knight and Our Generational Culture

I am very happy that others have decided to speak on this subject when I had this very thought when I actually saw the Dark Knight in theaters.  My conclusion is somewhat different though.

IRAQ: What Should America Do, What Does Sen. Obama Want, and What Does Sen. McCain Want

These are more questions than a precursor to a rant.  I am not arrogant enough to believe that I know what is right and have the right answer despite how deeply conflicted I feel about this conflict.  I do find it interesting how both senators are choosing to focus on domestic economic policy and are leaving the Iraq question out of their discussions.  That answer is obvious:  Poll after Poll show that is what the American people care about the most.

OBAMA IS A LIAR AND A HYPOCRITE!

The audacity of hypocrisy!

Obama and all his liberal ilk demanded campaign fincance reform.  They praised the presidential campaign finance system to no end.  Then he repeatedly promised, in writing and on camera that he would take campaign financing if his Republican counterpart did so.  Well, John McCain has taken it and Obama will not.

Hillary Lovers - Don't Vote In 2008 and Vote For Her In 2012

I am no lover of Senator Obama, or Senator Clinton, but I do think that politics is politics and those who have a particular vision of who they want in the White House should stick to their guns.  I'll elaborate.

The Power of Judicial Review is False and Unconstitutional

One of the most often quoted statements in support of Judicial authority of Judicial Review by liberals is that they must support the rights of minorities against the mob.  Historically speaking that is inaccurate.

The American Judiciary System is a Failed Experiment!

These words are very strong.  I know, but for any student of comparative legal systems it is undeniable to acknowldge that there are other legal frameworks in other Republics that just as well as ours AND please everyone.   Whether you agree or disagree with the most recent Supreme Court ruling, all agree that the Supreme Court has authority over a vast array of issues and values that generate heated debate.  And they are the final arbiters.  No one argues that they are not.  Both liberals and conservatives acknowledge this authority.  President Bush on We
