Paul Newman was a man I always admired.   He made many movies, some great.  He had a long successful marriage.  He did not fall victim to Hollywood.  Through his others endeavors he gave over $250 million to charities, some the making of his own efforts like for children with cancer camps.  Bon Voyage, Sir Paul Newman!!!

Paulson is a former CEO of Goldman Sach's.   And yes he is a member of IMF Board of Governors.

Well I am totally drained and exhausted by all the crazy noise of recent days.  As Konstantin might say I've been media "usurped" and my head has been pumped full of "apararatchik" toxins.  So, I will just go do some things physical and get some fresh air (yes it still exists).  I've been up on the roof doing maintenance to prevent the leaks that were bad for me last Winter.   At least it is something that I CAN actually do.  There is just too much rotten news at the moment for me to take on more or try to offer political thoughts.

I think that this provides a wealth of insight and information regarding the financial mess which you will not find anywhere else.  I have not read it all yet nor traveled all its links, but I just thought I'd pass it along to redblue associates right now since it is so immediately germane, and to me more significant that brain-numbing electionesque politics.  What it has most in common with the election coverage is the gross failure of the media.
