What Men Want.
Posted 13 weeks 4 days ago byI'm not easily impressed. Which is why I'm questioning my emotions regarding the Sarah Palin pick, and why I'm finding myself wanting to follow her through the gates of hell. To begin with, she is the fantasy of any man with a brainwave and a pulse. What the hell are they feeding the girls in Alaska, anyway, and can they ship it to the lower forty-eight? The mere fact that this part of the country is producing human beings of such caliber suggests we move the nation's capital to Anchorage.
Is she the best pick for V.P.? Well,...yes, I think she is. If you can bring me an example of a candidate who represents a greater reform-minded agenda, let's see it; If you can bring me an example of a woman who screams to the daughters of America a message of morality and competence, let's see it; If you can bring me an example of a candidate who better understands the capabilities of domestic energy production, again, let's see it. Don't blame McCain for recognizing leadership immediately and sticking a political fork in the eye of Democrats at the same time. Pilots are natural multi-taskers.
The social implications of the Palin choice can, and should, carry just as much weight as the political ramifications. From a social science point of view, men have almost as much to gain as women do. Admit it guys, are you not jealous as hell of Palin's husband? Do you honestly believe his male identity is somehow threatened by her political career? His snowmachine racing doesn't seem to have suffered. How many dads out their would like to spend some more time with their children in lieu of less time on their jobs? A lot. Aren't the Palins an example of why people should get married in the first place? Are not men, in their heart of hearts, the most happy when the women they love, whether it be their wives, daughters, or sisters fufill the destiny they were meant to fufill?
When a real man meets the type of woman Sarah Palin represents, he doesn't try to change her, he tries to change himself. That is the real definition of equal rights. The real men of this country are desperately searching for the Sarah Palins of the world, not only as spouses, but as business partners, political leaders, friends and confidants. My first question of Palin would not be in terms of years of experience, but rather in how many sisters she had. Her experience to be V;.P. lies as much in her life experience as it does in her political history: Mother; Governor; Champion basketball player; whistleblower; Hunter; Beauty Queen; Sports reporter; Coach; Fisherman.
Sound like a renaissance woman to me.
Isn't a renaissance what this country needs the most?

What extraction is her husband?
Submitted on August 30th, 2008 by KonstantinShe is probably a good candidate, but is the name Palin of her or of her husband?
Palin sounds Russian, isn't it?
Wouldn't McCain experience "dejavu" with Vietnam, hearing that name too often?
It could be good, to keep him alert, isn't it?
Konstantin.

Palin moved from Idaho to Alaska when she was three months old, and I think her children look great--ALL of them.
I'm confused?
Submitted on August 30th, 2008 by Hamiltonwith the first response to this post, are you suggesting Mrs. Palin kids are some how inadequate?

2. She was born in Idaho. Look at her kids -- they don't grow 'em so great in Alaska.
