This is Gender Affirmative Action Pure and Simple
Posted 13 weeks 5 days ago byThere were plenty of qualified Republicans, Democrats, and independents for the VP choice. Sen. McCain is of advanced age, it is his choice which will be a kep power player in the future and he chooses this inexperienced nobody from the second least populous state in the union. This is no Dick Cheney or even Joe Biden.
How can anyone hate Obama's inexperience and declare this was a good choice for VP. It speaks of partisanship and borders on hipocrisy. I was tired of hearing Democrats scream out - give Obama a chance. He has had enough experience like Lincoln. NO...we are a superpower now not some simple agrarian nation of 1860. No chances on people who haven't been tested on fire. Then McCain goes ahead and does this. I want to puke.
Perhaps voting for Obama is too extreme. Perhaps the wiser choice is to not vote, but never..never will I defend such a ridiculous choice just because I dislike Senator Obama. I choose to be intellectually honest and dislike both these politicians and remain completely disappointed with McCain.
The woman has a four month child with special needs and three other children and she wants to be a stone's throw away from the White House? Take care of your family Governor and leave the true political fight to veterans like Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, and even Tim Pawlenty.
If McCain wins I wonder...what type of renegade Republican will he appoint to the Supreme Court...another inexperienced woman that will learn the ropes of Judicial interpretatin while on the bench? I am sorely shaken by McCains wisdom. Obama or McCain...I dislike both now, let the partisans and the party loyalists praise their candidates. I am an American first and I say this was a calculated but erroneous choice.
Politics trumped the nation in this choice. Just like the selection of Senator Obama trumped true experience in the Democratic Party.

Do what?
Submitted on August 30th, 2008 by HamiltonSara Palin did not seek this position based on her belief in her destiny to rule, she does not feel she is the “one”, she is answering the call of a nation in need. Sara has not been groomed and created by radical left wing socialist with an agenda of destruction; she became a public ‘servant’ to work for the people of her city, state and now country.
Governor Palin has operated a city; Obama ran a terrorist founded indoctrination program that didn’t work; Governor Palin has been responsible for a state and did well; Obama has been a chairman of a committee and of course had no meetings. Experience? Obama has been associating with anti-Americans to promote his political career and that’s all he’s done. Wait, I forgot the 850 billion dollar bill he sponsored for America to pay to clean up the world. He says he’s not going to taxes average Americans, right and Bill just lives in his neighborhood, and he never heard Reverend J, say nothing bad about America.
You want to talk about affirmative action; Obama is going to be president because he is Black. Of course she is a political choice and yes she was chosen because she’s a woman and because she’s a conservative (which Senator McCain is not) she has a family and a child with special needs; that makes her an even better choice for VP, you’ve got to be kidding with all your anti-wife, mother, and women talk. When was the last time the VP had to step in and be the President, I’ll pick the Mother over crazy Uncle Joe and day?

Submitted on August 30th, 2008 by Anonymousso we have sworn enemies that want the US and Israel destroyed. and mccain picks a jewish woman soccer mom with no military experience and little/if any, foreign affairs experience. way to go. and that's why they see us as weak. and it's funny how men don't want women lording over them in thier own households, yet they will let a women dictate to them as leader of this nation? they're salivating over her. mccain's lost my vote. there's no way i can in good conscience vote for him now, not even with nose plugged. i'm changing to an independent and writing in romney/thompson on the ticket.
God's will?
Submitted on August 30th, 2008 by Anonymoussomeone tell me how God would want a woman with a 4 month old baby with special needs to choose career over family. modern day "christian" women want it all , don't they? even if it goes against scripture. God didn't want women usurping authority over men in church... because it then minimizes the God given authority of men. now take that authority outside of church, and what you get are tv commercials that make the women superior to men and make the men seem like idiots who can't think for themselves. that's a sign of our moral decline. it's not Gods way. not the REAL God of the Bible anyway. let the real Christ come back soon and let judgment fall upon the earth, soon.
