What Biden had to say
Posted 13 weeks 6 days ago byI thought Biden's speech as lacking and it did not even come near the speeches of the Clintons.
Biden went on the attack with his speech against John McCain in a contrast and comparison set of rants.
What was interesting is that Biden must have taken Obama's talking points on some stats that are not verified.
Biden talked about Obama's record in Illinios on welfare reform. I guess someone should have told Biden that Obama actually voted against that bill and almost went to blows with another senator for not voting for those things which highly effected that senator's district.
Biden in his compare and contrast about judgement was a huge mistake. The Republicans will have a video out in the next few days I am sure to point out the mistake Biden has made and will smash Obama and and his experience and judgement push by Biden because simply Obama has none.
Over all it was a poor speech but one I think he had to give. Such a let down after the clinton's speeches.

hmmm
Submitted on August 28th, 2008 by John 2000I spent some time today watching four segments from Joe Biden 'questioning' Clarence Thomas at the very overblown racially tinged Clarence Thomas drama hearings covered by CSPAN a number of years ago. I was unimpressed then and I was even more unimpressed now. It took him, of course, over 6 minutes to get to the first question as he blathered on. I couldn't begin to tell ya what he said. The questions were totally lame and led nowhere. It was embarrassing to watch ... please do if you get a chance. The man is not very competent. The more he talks, the more it comes through.
Hey I watched Joe,
Submitted on August 28th, 2008 by RespectfulguestSenator Biden has an uncanny knack to let an event play out and then endlessly criticize the the side of the event that failed. He's the absolute best at it.
Did you know Joey also takes the train all the way from Deleware to DC every day all by himself? Oh yes he does.
Amazing how 36 years in DC has not changed Joe at all, no DC politics as usual with Joe. No way, no how, not with Joe.
Now that's some change we can believe in.
Didn't watch
