Voight- your "ism"
Posted 15 weeks 6 days ago byhttp://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2008/jul/28/voight/
Actor turned commentator seems to think an Obama Presidency would dramatically change the way of life as we know it. What I find most disturbing is the accusatory tone regarding younger people (Obama supporters). In that, how could it be so easy to sway people to accept a Socialist-leaning agenda? Is it a failure of our education system? Is it the same reason people call Ron Paul's Constitutional message "nuts?
Maybe we're far enough removed from the Cold War it's just not something on people's minds these days. We've replaced individulistic American ideals with more apathetic, collectivist Socialist ideas. "The government should" is one of the most dangerous phrases threatening freedom.
World Citizen - just words?

Dear world citizens

See how many times "economic justice" gets repeated in speeches. Looking forward to the debates.
I agree

Submitted on July 29th, 2008 by REEDDARRELLI assume your talking about John Voight, and I must agree Osama Bin Obama will change America as we know it.I've said it before and I'll say it again HE AND HIS WIFE HAVE A DEEP DISLIKE,AND RACIST Attitude ABOUT AMERICA.When in our history did we have a presidential candidate have to explain why he didn't wear a flag pin on his lapel or place his hand over his heart when the national anthem was being played?.Your all scholars tell me when.

I think with political correctness we found a way to make the good afraid. So much has been put on the taboo list that everything is starting to look okay, not my business, who am I to say, ect...
The good need to start seeing that political correctness is not politically correct. This is one thing the Pope was trying to say the last time he was here.
We need to start saying how we fell no matter WHO likes it.
Children in lower grades are taught to listen to their teachers. By the time they are in college they do not know how to speak their own minds anymore. They follow the crowd more and more at this age and they believe they are more voice full. They may be more convicted but their convictions are not from their own minds.
When my oldest came home from college one day to visit-she told me -she can not stand some of the kids there. She said that too many people look to see what is popular before they make a stand on anything. She had asked what this guy thought of the war on Iraq and was floored when he said he doesn't know until he asked his friends what he should think! Fuming she followed him to his friends and they said nothing until one person said in a very strong voice that their professor said -Israel told us to attack Iraq. Someone else said that -no remember so and so said that it was not true and was proven not to be true. The rest of the kids started to agued with the girl and gained up on her until she said okay it probably is true. She said that this was just one incident. Our children are being brainwashed by the same people we entrust them to. Something is very wrong.
thanks

I wonder if he (Voight) plans to work in Hollywood any more, or if he could ever hope for a good review. It is a remarkable statement under the circumstances as Hollywood is always in full revenge mode for McCarthy stuff back in the 50's. So, at least a toast for your courage, Jon Voight. I wish you and your family health.
The other link which addresses the codified language of Obama's campaign is also good. I have been observing the split message crafting of his actual wordings for quite some time and marveling at their skillful application.
But then you might wonder why so much of big business/media is pushing and selling this Social Democracy in the first place ... thinking markets want their freedom, why would they be pushing Fascism with Socialist/Communist leaning teeth? For that you have to get all into the NWO agenda and it seems such discussion is a no-no. These people see China system as the current ideal.
Yes its the educational system
Submitted on July 29th, 2008 by PabloYes it is the educational system here in the US.
Having spent some 9 years in college, I can tell you straight that college professors for the most part are antiAmerican especially in areas of History, Economics and politcal science areas.
Then you have the other areas which have been for decades against America those of philosophy and Literature.
Basically you have lots of professors who promote antiAmerican idealology and then over time it gets into the secondary educational system where our High schools teach a more marxist appealing agenda. Then over time is gets even into the Jr. High levels.
Thus young people are not taught anything that promotes nationalism here in America.
How many young people have learned things that used to be main stays of the educational system.
Learning the Declaration of Independece or just the preamble.
It used to be standard that every kind had to do a report on the declaration of independence.
Know the titles to the bill of rights.
Most people know the first two. How many know say the third or fourth or even the 5th ones?
Gettysburg Address is another. How About the FDR speech on Demcember 8, 1941.
The American educational system now teaches our youth to hate the American dream rather than show how it differs from the rest of the world.
Sad but none the less true.
