WHEN IS CONGRESS GOING TO PAY THE CONSEQUENCES FOR THEIR WRONG ACTIONS PLUS INACTIONS? LETS START WITH THE PRICE OF GAS.

THANK you John for the title update.  Well said indeed. Maybe Congress can think about it while they are on vacation next week while the rest of us suffer through these sky rocketed gas prices.  A year ago, it was around $2.90 a gallon, and only a year later well over $4.00 a gallon.  Who is really to blame?   Why is it when it comes to our congress, it is always hurry up and wait; but when it comes to us paying taxes, we get penalized and have to pay the consequences?  When is Congress going to pay the consequences for their actions?

Come on people, some where I made a post claiming that the only way to reclaim our government is for term limits for elected officials to be the law of the land. If it’s good enough for the President, why would it not be right for all of Congress?

The way to make your Congressman,or Senator pay for their actions or inactions,is very simple,fire their butts.If your representatives don't agree with your way of thinking don't vote for him or her,wether they are state or federal rep's.I know I will never agree with everything they say or do but I let them know when we don't agree.As some of you know my passion is illegal aliens,and communist china,cheating oil companies,so I let my state and U.S.rep's know if they want my vote,change their votes.

there are also too many obscenely gerrymandered districts which make incumbency almost a foregone conclusion. Experience is one thing, but so is rot.

either with Democrats or Republicans...once they get elected, they have the tendency to get reelected over and over again.

You know, Skye, they sort of become like an old confortable pair of shoes, a bit beat up, but that you end up wearing most of the time anyway.

Plenty of blame to go around;
A half century of inactivity and deliberate road blocks from the environmental wacko left and America will continue to pay through the nose for energy. But let’s not forget that the Republicans had control of Congress and the Oval office for a very long time and did nothing.

When is Congress going to pay the consequences for their 'wrong actions' plus inactions?

They will stop when rounded up for treason, criminal behavior, incompetence and other violations of sworn duties.

They will stop when people REALLY get up off their asses and scare the F out of them.

It's not that Congress is the only problem in this specific series of steps toward end game ... but their failure is a long time in the making.
