Does the rule of law apply for the Bush Administration?
Posted 33 weeks 22 hours ago byThe " war on terror " gave to the Bush Administration the perfect opportunity to increase the power of the Executive branch to a level rarely seen in US history.
This is the key argument that Eric Lichtblau, from The New-York Times, is making in his new book: " Bush's Law: The Remaking of American Justice ".
This is what Jeffrey Rosen, from The International Herald Tribune, had to say about the book in his review: " Lichtblau describes the many innocent victims whose email messages, phone calls and political activities were secretly monitored. More than 180 peaceful groups opposed to the Iraq war ended up in the Pentagon's talon database, whitch was designed to collect leads that might be related to terrorism ."

Bush's agenda
Submitted on April 16th, 2008 by skywriterBush has an uncompromising agenda to fulfill what he believes is his destiny. And that is to bring democracy to the middle east. He has persued this agenda at the cost of damaging democracy in the US. He truly believes he will be vindicated in time and his policies will accomplish his goals and he will go down in the history books as a great president. He is obviously deluded. He and his architects of this war have damaged America in ways that my grandchildren will be paying for for the rest of their lives. One can only wonder how the Bush neo-cons can look into their mirror each morning.
Bush keeps changing the laws.
